  • How much does a Chargefon Power bank cost?

    The rental fee is $3 an hour or $5 a day. A temporary hold of $15 will be placed at rent start. $35 will be charged for failure to return on the go charger. Each Chargefon power bank can be kept up to a maximum of seven (7) days. For Chargefon charger kept more than five (5) days, it will be deemed as overdue, you will be charged fee $35 minus the original rental fee and it is yours to keep. The power bank can be charged with a computer, or a standard Micro USB cable plugged into a power outlet.

  • When will my credit card be charged?

    Your initial payment fee of will be processed at the time of rental. When you return the Chargefon power bank your credit card will be processed again for additional rental period beyond the first hour and $5 for any additional days. If you do not return your Chargefon power bank within the first five (7) seven, your card will be charged $35 fee minus initial rental fees.

  • Which credit cards are accepted by Chargefon?

    Chargefon accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards. Gift cards are not accepted.

  • What devices can be charged with Chargefon power bank?

    It supports all Apple iPhones® models released after the iPhone® 5 with lightning cable and most Android™ phones that use micro-USB charging plugs or a USB Type-C cable.

  • Can I use my phone while it is charging?

    Yes, you can charge and use your phone at the same time. If you're doing so, please keep in mind that it will take longer to fully charge your phone.

  • How long does it take to charge my phone?

    It charges as fast as your wall charger normally would, so most phones take upwards of one hour to get a full charge. Note: Charging times will vary based on your device type, battery size and current battery charge level.

  • After scanned and paid, unable to charge your device when the cable is properly plugged in?

    Press the ‘Power on’ button located on the side of the power bank. When the cable or the device is not functioning, please return it directly. You will not be charged within three minutes. After three minutes, please contact us at support@chargefon.com.

  • Can I use this on my iPad/tablet?

    Yes, but it charges significantly slower and will likely only provide a partial charge.

  • The Chargefon power bank is warm while charging my device, is this normal?

    The portable chargers power your device according to the same standards as the wall charger that came with your mobile device. The charger and phone might warm up while in use, but this is normal.

  • Where do I return the Chargefon power bank after my phone is charged?

    You can return Chargefon power bank to any available Chargefon Station that has an empty slot. Please plug the cables back to the power bank and place the depleted power bank back into the station with the “arrows” sign facing downward. A tone will ring if the return is successful. You may also check the status of your borrowed power bank on the History page on the Chargefon mobile app. The return is successful only when the status shows “returned”. Chargefon power bank locations are available on the mobile app.

  • What happens if I lose the Chargefon power bank or don't return it?

    If you lose a power bank, please report the issue to us immediately to avoid any additional fees. We charge $35 for every not returned/lost power bank.

  • How do I request a refund?

    Should you have billing concerns, please contact our customer support team via email at support@chargefon.com for a refund.
